What is Platelet Rich Plasma?
Also known as PRP, it is a high concentration of your own platelets in a small volume of plasma that contains various growth factors.
The treatment in the face can be used to treat acne scars, surgical scars, hyperpigmentation issues, uneven and dull skin tone, fine lines and wrinkles, and help to restore lost volume in the face.

How is PRP collected?
-A small amount of your blood is collected into a tube, similarly to when you give blood for a lab test.
-The tube is placed into a centrifuge which spins the blood at a very high speed to separate the blood.
-Once the separation process is complete the ‘Liquid Gold’ which is the plasma is injected into the treatment area.

How often should you get PRP injections?
To achieve the best outcome, treatment is recommended in a series of 3 spaced a month apart, results last for a minimum of 9months up to 2 years, a retreatment after a year is recommended to maintain optimal results.

When will I see results?
You will begin to notice signs of improvement within the first week, with more dramatic results developing over the following 3-4 weeks.
